Our Intiatives:
The Africa Transformation Initiative (ATI) is comprised of several distinct programs such as the Disciple-Making Ministry, Enfant De Gloire, the Correspondence Course, a leadership development program, a community development initiative, as well as a in person seminary courses. Each initiative reflects the heart of Jesus in a unique and impactful way. The Disciple-Making Ministry brings thousands of people to Jesus each year. Enfant De Gloire cares for and disciples children who would otherwise be living on the streets of Abidjan, providing them with essential support and guidance. The Correspondence Course offers a high-quality, remote seminary education for free, equipping the next generation of Christian leaders in West Africa. Because we believe that a community is better changed through the transformation of its people, we also have initiatives that focus on community development and leadership development.
Disciple-Making Movement
Our first initiative, the Disciple-Making Ministry, spans 10 West African countries, planting over 700 churches in Niger in 2023 alone. This effort has reached six distinct people groups, leading thousands to Jesus each year. We are deeply grateful for this chance to be part of such a transformative journey. To find more information in the Disciple-Making movement visit our Get Equipped page.
Enfants D’Glorie
Our second initiative, Enfants De Gloire, or the Street Children Ministry, focuses on rescuing homeless children in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. We provide these children with a safe and nurturing environment where they experience the love and compassion of Jesus. Enfants De Gloire offers food, clothing, and education, including special tutoring for those who have never attended school.
We provide these children with a safe and nurturing environment where they experience the love and compassion of Jesus. We share the message of Jesus with the children and have the joy of seeing them choose Jesus for themselves.
Matthew 25: 35-40:
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
These two initiatives have at their heart to know God and grow in the knowledge of His love.
Correspondence Course
Our third initiative, the Correspondence Course, is extensively available throughout West Africa. This program allows individuals to complete a full seminary course for free by exchanging letters with our team. With over 30,000 graduates to date. The correspondence courses allow each participant to go deeper in their knowledge of God and the Bible while accessing content that they cannot afford.
2 Peter 3:18 “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”
Divinity Academy
With the continuing vision to impact on all the spheres of society and in every corner of the earth, we have further expanded our efforts by establishing an advanced seminary school for those eager to deepen their knowledge of Jesus and His message. Divinity Academy is an initiative dedicated to raising up the next generation of church leaders in West Africa, equipping them with the comprehensive training necessary to lead churches and entire movements.
Proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
Community Development
In the vision of having a holistic approach to Discipleship making, ATI in its community development initiative believes that we are the hands and feet of Jesus. With bringing the knowledge of God to people, we want to build up communities through projects that will generate income for the locals. From educational programs, skills development and income based activities we aim to create jobs and income security which will in turn bring families and communities stability socially, financially and most importantly spiritually.
James 2: 15-16: “Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?
